One of the questions facing us webmasters is the question of where to get a good free merchant account.  There are a number of places to find this information.  But, be careful when looking around.  Do you need terminal processing capabilities?  Do you need to accept credit card transactions over the telephone or on the internet?  Do they have good rates?  Are there any hidden fees or setup costs? 

These are just a few of the questions you should be asking yourself when looking for a credit card merchant account online.  Do your homework and choose one that suits all of your needs.

Are you looking for an attorney directory?

I found this one while cruising around the net.  It’s well organized and complete with the addresses and telephone numbers of thousands of attorneys all across America.  This is not your average web directory filled with useless links, either.  You can actually use the information in this directory.  The lawyers are organized by state, city and the type of practice that they operate.  Handy info to have in a jam.

Well, I haven’t been online much over the past week.  The reason for my absence is that I was renovating our main floor bathroom.  It was fugly before!  I think it looks better now.  Here are some before and after shots.  What do you think?  Improvement or not?  Please feel free to comment.

There was definitely a learning curve associated with this renovation.  It was the first time I had changed a toilet and I had to fight with a leak that was difficult to fix.  It was also the first time I have taken on an entire room all at once, painting, plumbing, fixtures, electrical, etc.  I’ve been to Home Depot about 15 times in the past week. 

I think it turned out all right.
