Happy New Year Everyone! (Yeah, I Wish)
Well, another year has come and gone. I am usually not the type of person to make new year’s resolutions. I figure that if you want to make changes to your life, then you can (and should) do that any day of the year. However, since I am relatively new to blogging, my blog could use quite a few more entries AND it is January 1st, I should probably resolve to update my blog more often. So, I guess I’ll try to stick to that.
For the year ahead of us, specifically here in Canada, I am not too hopeful. We are currently in the midst of a federal election. Our choices suck! The Canadian public seems all too willing to forgive the ruling Liberal party for all of it’s past misdeeds, which has had the unfortunate side effect of giving the members of the Liberal party a strong sense of invincibility. I had previously “predicted” another Liberal government for January 23rd. I use the term “prediction” very loosely because the outcome has, unfortunately, already been determined. The Liberal party has won the last 4 elections in a row and there is no reason to believe that this one will be any different. They are playing on the fear that many Canadians have of the Conservative party, which is the only real alternative to voting for the Liberal party. The other parties don’t stand a chance. As long as Paul Martin is successful in scaring the Canadian public away from the Conservative party, the Liberals will continue to enjoy their rule of this country as “The Untouchables”.
Anyway, today is the first day of a new year, so that’s enough talk about politics for now. I am hoping that the year 2006 is better than 2005. That’s not to say that there was anything wrong with 2005. But, why not wish for a better year in 2006, no matter how good 2005 was? I am going to try to setup some more websites in 2006. I am definitely going to be promoting my contractor/homeowner website. If you are a contractor that provides services to home owners in the GTA (plumber/electrician/roofer/paver/drywaller/etc.) or you are a homeowner in the GTA, feel free to stop by and sign up.
I want to thank Colleen for stopping by and for the wonderful comments she made about my blog AND my cleavage.
I have added a link to Colleen’s blog in my links. Colleen is a fellow Canadian (Canadian chicks rule!) who designs skins for WordPress. She is THE WordPress Skin girl!
Check her out!
I also have a rough forum section setup for EDUMUCATION.COM. You can find the forums HERE. I am hoping that the forum section will be a great place for a completely free (no censorship) exchange of ideas for everyone. Please feel free to stop by and sign up.
Also, I am always looking for content for EDUMUCATION.COM. This website and domain will be a constant work in progress. If you would like to contribute in any way at all (your own blog/your own section of our forum/articles/whatever), please E-Mail Me!
I will end here. I have much work to do. And, I will try to keep this blog more current as the year progresses.
