There are a number of different colleges out there with vastly different academic programs.  How do you choose the right one for you?

There are a number of questions to ask yourself.  How much can you afford to spend?  How much of your education will be subsidized?  Is the college of your choice one of the best in your field of study?  Will you be taking your courses in class or online?  Do graduates of the college become successful after graduation?  Make sure you answer these questions while looking for your college.

One of the questions facing us webmasters is the question of where to get a good free merchant account.  There are a number of places to find this information.  But, be careful when looking around.  Do you need terminal processing capabilities?  Do you need to accept credit card transactions over the telephone or on the internet?  Do they have good rates?  Are there any hidden fees or setup costs? 

These are just a few of the questions you should be asking yourself when looking for a credit card merchant account online.  Do your homework and choose one that suits all of your needs.

I just went through a major computer network overhaul.  Well… it’s pretty major for my home. 

It’s been a while since I have been able to add any systems to my home network and my server crashed a while ago.  That left me with no backups of my data so it was great to finally get my hands on some used computer gear.  The price (free) was right, too. 

So, now I have a functional server again with a decent sized hard drive so that I can backup my data across the network while I sleep. 

I managed to piece together another workstation too so there will be less waiting to use a computer at my house.  That’s always a good thing!

Things sure are better than when I was a kid.  TV shows for kids are better.  Video games are better.  Movies are better, by leaps and bounds.  Even bowling balls are better.    Some of those bowling balls are pretty cool, actually.  Bowling shoes haven’t changed much, though, since I was a kid. 

I was thinking about this, even more, recently, because the lease was up on my old minivan.  Yes.  It was getting close to that dreaded time again… time to renegotiate a new lease for a new vehicle.  I despise the entire process.  The dealership applies pressure through their sales tactics.  I counter with pressure to keep the price as low as possible.  But, we finally agreed on a price, putting me (and my family) into a new minivan.  The thing has satellite radio for me and a DVD player for my kids.  The DVD player has 30 video games built into it!  It’s great! 

I remember long trips when I was a kid.  All we had was “I spy…”.

Are you looking for an attorney directory?

I found this one while cruising around the net.  It’s well organized and complete with the addresses and telephone numbers of thousands of attorneys all across America.  This is not your average web directory filled with useless links, either.  You can actually use the information in this directory.  The lawyers are organized by state, city and the type of practice that they operate.  Handy info to have in a jam.
